Our History and Expertise

Founded by Ian Stewart FCA CTA in 1981, our firm initially provided tax advice to accountants and lawyers. Today, we are a full-service accountancy practice, remaining deeply committed to tax practice. As a qualified and practicing member of the Institute of Taxation, Ian offers expert advice on all areas of commercial taxation, including Profit extraction, Share schemes, EIS, EMI, Company reconstructions including purchase of own shares, VAT planning, in addition to routine corporation and income tax matters.

Ian Cooke, our Director, joined the firm in 1991 and leads our accounting function. With decades of experience, Ian ensures that our clients receive top-notch accounting services tailored to their unique needs.

Jon Dale BA (Hons) FCA joined us in 2004 from a national firm of accountants to head up the Audit function. He is a partner in our sister firm, Independent Auditors LLP, and also manages Contractor Taxation Services Ltd. Jon’s extensive experience ensures that our clients receive top-tier audit and contractor taxation services.
